We want to provide children and young people with real opportunities: for education, for new perspectives, and for their personal development. We realize this goal together with our selected project partners.
In a variety of projects, young people can discover new things, grow beyond themselves, and gain valuable experience. In doing so, we also consciously promote an understanding of democratic values and show why democracy is the foundation for a self-determined, respectful, and just coexistence.
We support our projects not only organizationally, but also provide targeted funding through grants and cover project-related material costs.
Our focus areas are in the fields of education and science, international understanding, social justice, the understanding of democracy, and personal development.
With the support of the Klaus Höchstetter Foundation, eleven dedicated young people traveled to Washington, D.C., with the “Young Forum for Foreign Policy” to gain first-hand experience of political decision-making processes, international diplomacy, and the future of transatlantic cooperation. The encounters on-site opened up new perspectives and illustrated how vital personal dialogue is for mutual understanding and international responsibility.
Are you interested in international politics, international relations, security policy, or diplomacy? Then the Young Forum for Foreign Policy Munich offers you the opportunity to participate in an exceptional delegation trip to Washington D.C. in September 2026.
