In May 2026, the Klaus Höchstetter Foundation is initiating a new international educational project: a Bavarian-Greek student exchange in Athens and Ithaca. The goal of the project is to provide young people with intercultural experiences and to strengthen European dialogue through personal encounters.

A special highlight is already planned for the run-up to the trip. Konstantinos Kodellas, Consul General of Greece in Munich, will welcome the participants to the Consulate General of Greece in Munich. There, the students will have the opportunity to gain first-hand insights into Greek politics and history.

This meeting forms a valuable substantive prelude to the subsequent encounter in Greece and underscores the importance of education, international exchange, and mutual understanding. With this project, the Klaus Höchstetter Foundation consistently continues its commitment to sustainable educational work and European understanding.
